The vanilla mesh & Texture for the pip boy and nearly every other vanilla asset is located inside the BSA folders. These are not changed by mods. And deleting one of those will crash the game on start if it is not there. The asset is loaded from the BSA every time you start the game, then after loading, it is overwritten by the replacement from the mod.

Removing the mod allows the vanilla mesh/texture to reappear. Find the mod that is causing the problem - reinstalling the BSA won't do anything.BSA's are always loaded before anything else - then the mods load and make the changes in your computer memory - the actual BSAs are not changed by the mods.
